About KoCalc
KoCalc is a personally run site with Korean labor and tax calculators that search pages do not answer directly, and calculators for things that work differently when you are a foreigner living in Korea.
How the calculators are made
- Each page lists the law articles or government guides it follows and the date the rules were checked.
- Each calculator's result is tested automatically against an official example when one exists, or against a hand calculation from the law's own numbers. The hand calculation is shown on the page.
- Formulas and pages are built with help from AI tools and checked against the official law text (Korea Law Information Center).
What it is not
- Not legal or tax advice. Before you file or claim, confirm with an official office (Ministry of Employment and Labor 1350, press 5 for English · National Tax Service foreigner helpline 1588-0560) or a professional.
- We do not store or send what you type — see the privacy policy.
